i have attempted so many times to leash myself to a blog. i’ve had burpsy.wordpress, burpsy.blogger, burpsy.younameit. this time it’s different. Burpsliberty.wordpress is where it’s at. Thanks for stopping by. i’ll endeavour to keep you updated at least weekly (give or take a year) on my crafty goings-on and tidbits that inspire me.
Right now, it’s all about the lovely, most gorgeous, Aglais. Aglais are an Australian online store specialising in Japanese vintage and new silks and fabrics. They’re in the forefront of my little mind as I’ve just received sad, sad news that they’re soon to close down to move onto greener pastures. but! there’s a silver lining (yes!! i hear you say). everything is 50% off. I’ve just spent the weekly grocery money on some fine, fine fabrics and am oh-so-excited about the postperson stopping by! Stock is almost literally running out the door, so i’d urge you to have a little peek. now. even just to drop a line to Jan Margarson, the site owner.
On the topic of Japanese fabric, Yoshi Jones are having a sale! as far as i know, they don’t have an online store, so you may have to trek to Paddington or Newtown to bask in their stunning designs and flavours. I must tell you, though, that it’s well worth it!
